I am fluent in both Sibelius and Finale, and enjoy keeping my skills fresh on alternating software platforms. I enjoy the creative challenge of adapting the mood, size and/or difficulty level of an existing piece.


My ears are unusually good, by which I mean that I'm able to hear more than one harmonic possibility at a time in a given progression, which can create interesting dilemmas in harmonic analysis (...ahem...) but is a great asset in terms of plucking notes out of thin air and coaxing them onto a score. Adaptation is the key.
